Children First Sunday,  9:30am

We continue our new focus in worship and learning for both children and adults.  Committed to the belief that worship is an integral part of the Christian formation of children as well as adults, the First Sunday of every month will include young people of the parish in worship.  Children of all ages will join in worship for the opening of the liturgy rather than going into Sunday School.  Taking part in the procession along with the choir and liturgical ministers, some youth will also participate in reading lessons.  During the gospel hymn the children will process out of the church to their classrooms where they will have a time of learning and reflection and prayer based on the lessons of the day.  They will return at the passing of the peace to participate in the Holy Communion. 

This will be an exciting new experience for children and adults alike.
